KVS PGT Selection Process 2025
The selection process for Kendriya Vidyalaya PGT includes two stages to ensure shortlisting of the most suitable candidates for this post. The details of the selection process are discussed below.
Written Test
The first phase is the written test. It will be conducted for 180 marks. Candidates need to qualify the written exam to be considered for further selection.
Professional Competency Test
After the written exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the Professional Competency test which carries 60 marks. This steg includes two tests as follows:

The Kendriya Vidyalaya PGT is a reputed central government job. The salary for the KVS postgraduate teacher depends on the level of experience. At the Entry Scale, the salary is drawn as per Level 8 (Rs. 47600 to Rs. 51100).
